Surprisingly while there Jack encounters a ex medical school chum as the head of the facility, Dr Kate Martin Dr Kate has her own healing to do, which includes taking another name and having to start her life all over again There really isn t too much detail about Dr Kate s previous, troubled relationship and the book does end relatively quickly with almost no thought about it The best part of this book though is the relationship between Jack and his little nephew, Harry The ending isn t really believable that a wildly successful doctor would give it all up to work in the county for significantly less money just to be with his nephew and fianc but it is a lovely thought An amazing story about healing with dolphins Jack takes his recently orphaned nephew to a sanctuary where playing and working with dolphins helps injured children heal, and reunites with his university friend Kate This is a beautiful story and features some very playful and special dolphins A great read. dolphins are realistically portrayed Dr Jack Kincaid is an oncologist and a professor whose career is on the rise His sister and her husband were killed when a drunk driver hit their car Their son, Harry, sustained severe injury to his leg and has emotionally shut down He rarely talks and does not respond to them very often Since he got out of the hospital, he had been living with Jack s other sister, Helen, and her large family Harry seemed to have gotten lost in her family Jack steps in to take Harry for a while to see if he can help The only catch is that he had to take Harry to the Dolphin Sanctuary to see if they can help Harry Helen has already made arrangements to get Harry into the program To appease his sister, Jack agrees although he thinks the place is fradulous and does not see how animals can help He is evenskeptical when the first thing he sees is the death of a little boy in the water with the dolphins He does not know that the boy was terminal and his parents chose to have him spend his last days in peace rather than having medical procedures which won t work He is amazed to recognize the therapist Dr Kate Martin as a woman doctor he once knew as Catherine Heineman in medical school However, since the receptionist had introduced Harry to Dr Martin s dog Maisie and actually had gotten positive reactions from Harry, he decided to give the place a chance He also wanted to see why Catherine is now Dr Kate Martin Kate is disturbed to see Jack Kincaid as she thoroughly vetted the people wanting appointments to make sure no one from her past life got in However, since the appointment had actually been made by Helen, Jack s name never appeared She decided to allow them to stay since Harry was here and responding to Maisie She was concerned her secret would be exposed What is she hiding Will she and the dolphins be able to help Harry Will Jack change his mind about her services How will Jack s life change This is a really good book Sweet, romantic, short and heartwarming are a few words that can be used to describe this book I loved the characters and thought bit of backstories were interesting I wished there wasconflict but that s probably because I m so used to books beingdrama filled This book didn t need it so much Overall I really enjoyed this book and if you are looking for a book with the qualities I mentioned before this book is for you.

About the Author: Marion Lennox

Writing romance sounds fascinating Huh I m a writer I m boring Day after day I sit behind a word processor making up people in my head Why do I do it I love it My husband, Dave, gets up in the morning, puts on a suit and heads out into the ice and cold of Ballarat s winter Sadly I live in one of the tiny parts of Australia that qualifies as cold I make myself another cup of coffee, head up to my study, choose what music I want and sit and daydream And I get paid for doing it Hooray My first attempt at writing romance, Dare To Love Again , a Medical Romance, was published by Harlequin Mills and Boon in 1990 It still stands today as a monument to my family s ability to survive on cheese sandwiches and spaghetti.Since then I ve written over 80 Romances for Harlequin Mills and Boon, withon the drawing board I used a pseudonym Trisha David for the first few Romances but suffered with a split personality and have since reverted to being Marion Lennox all the time In between romances, I ve co authored a non fiction history, I love local history done the odd very odd spot of housework and done a heap of travelling research I come from a farming community You can probably tell this from my books There s not a skyscraper in sight I m very much a pets person Chloe and Harry were my constant canine companions for many years as I wrote, demanding walks and air freshener at frequent intervals Sadly I lost them, and for a while I vowed not to get another My heart was broken and my study smelled so clean But The cat and I missed them so badly we weakened and bought Mitzi Mitzi s a black and silver mini schnauzer who makes me and the cat laugh Expect to find her in future stories. If you re interested in formalities, I hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a teaching diploma I have a couple of kids and a huge extended family who look on me with affectionate tolerance Marion The crazy one who talks to people in her head I ve had nine nominations for the Rita, winning twice, and fourteen for the Australian Book of the Year After years of thinking of my writing as a hobby I guess I finally now qualify as a real writer.Thank your for taking the trouble to check out my web page Now try my books We might even end up having fun together And write to me I show my family See Real people do like the things that go in in my head.
